Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Curb Dibs collects, why, and your choices.
1. Information about subscribers
- Account: name, email, company name (optional), and what you tell us about how you use real estate data.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe's privacy policy applies to the payment data it handles.
- Email: we send the weekly digest and account messages through Resend. We record whether emails are delivered, so we can fix delivery problems. We don't track whether you open or click our emails.
- Website analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or track you across sites.
- Use: we use this information to run the Service, bill you, send the digest, answer support requests and improve the product. We don't sell subscriber information.
2. Information about properties and owners (public records)
- The Service lists information from public records: City of Charlotte code-enforcement cases, Charlotte City Council agendas and minutes, and Mecklenburg County property records (owner of record, mailing address, assessed value, sale history).
- We show individual records only to logged-in subscribers who have agreed to our Terms, which ban harassment, discrimination, public posting and resale. Our public content (website and social media) uses only aggregate numbers, never individual owners or addresses.
- We don't add phone numbers, emails or other contact data beyond the county's mailing address.
- If a record is about you: you can ask us to correct an error or remove the record from our Service at curbdibs.com/contact. We'll respond within 30 days. Removing it from our Service doesn't change the government's public record; for that, contact the city or county.
3. Sharing
We share subscriber information only with the service providers that run the Service (Stripe for payments, Resend for email, Cloudflare for hosting), when the law requires it, or if the business is sold (the buyer would be bound by this policy).
4. Security and retention
We use reasonable safeguards. We keep subscriber records while you have an account and for 24 months after, unless the law requires longer (for example tax records).
5. Your choices
You can update your details, unsubscribe from non-essential emails, or delete your account at any time from your account page or through curbdibs.com/contact. Depending on your state, you may have additional rights to access or delete your information; contact us and we'll honor them.
6. Contact
